가을을 맞아 주요 백화점들이 한층 젊어진 모습으로 새 단장한다. 20~30대 젊은층
고객을 유입하기 위해 영패션, 길거리패션 등의 브랜드를 대거 들여왔기 때문이다.
11일 관련업계에 따르면 현대백화점은 F/W(가을·겨울) 시즌을 맞이해
젊은 층을 사로잡기 위한 영패션, 남성패션 등의 브랜드를 대대적으로 강화했다.
현대백화점(155,000원 ▽2,000 -1.27%)이 올 가을 새롭게 선보이는
신규 입점 브랜드는 ‘레미떼’, ‘아메리칸빈티지’, ‘팬콧’, ‘탑걸’, ‘알레그리’, ‘타임옴므’, ‘캐나다구스’ 등이다.
현대백화점 관계자는 “트렌드에 발빠른 20~30대 젊은 고객들을
잡기 위해 스트리트 브랜드, 새로운 콘셉트의 ‘하이캐주얼’ 편집숍 등을
다양하게 선보이고 있다”고 말했다.
롯데백화점은 F/W 시즌 브랜드 개편 방향을 ‘젊은 백화점’으로 잡고
길거리 브랜드를 강화하는 데 중심을 뒀다.
길거리 브랜드로 입지를 구축한 ‘난닝구’, ‘스타일난다’, ‘매그제이’, ‘나인걸’ 등의 경우
이미 롯데백화점에서 팝업스토어 형식으로 입점해 대박을 쳤다. 이에 상시 입점 형태로 전환 중이다.
7일 간 팝업스토어를 운영하는 동안 2억원의 매출을 올린 나인걸은
롯데백화점 본점에 이어 최근 관악점에 입점해 영업중이다. 난닝구는 인첨점과
미아점에 입점했고, 스타일난다는 본점에 이어 잠실점, 인천점, 대구점에 들어섰다
이에 따라 롯데백화점에 둥지를 튼 길거리 브랜드 수는 30개에서 40여개로 늘어났다.
롯데백화점 관계자는 “젊은 고객은 디자인과 가격 대피 품질을 중시하는 경향이 강해
길거리 브랜드를 적극 유치하고 있다”며 “길거리 브랜드 쇼핑몰을 즐겨 찾았던
온라인몰 고객 유입까지 기대할 수 있을 것”이라고 말했다.
신세계(229,000원 ▽1,000 -0.43%)백화점 역시 젊은 층이 선호하는 고급 브랜드를 대거 강화했다.
미국의 여성 콘템포러리 캐주얼 ‘빈스’, 프렌치시크를 표방한 ‘바네사 브루노’,
알렉산더 왕의 캐주얼 라인 ‘T 바이 알렉산더 왕’이 이번에 선보이는 대표적 브랜드다.
신세계 측은 “젊은 고객층이 선호하는 해외 유니섹스 브랜드와
프리미엄 캐주얼 라인을 강화했다”고 말했다.
